VRED 2025.3 – Black UI Panels Fixed in HDR Light Studio 8.2.5 release
Older HDR Light Studio versions caused black UI panels due to VRED's new OCIO color settings. This update ensures HDR Light Studio ignores VRED's settings, which fixes the issue.
UI Scaling Issues Fixed in HDR Light Studio 8.2.5 release
Due to 'how' Autodesk products are scaling their application UI, and these settings can be passed to HDR Light Studio and cause problems. This update ensures that HDR Light Studio always honours the operating system UI scaling or HDR Light Studio's environment variable for UI scaling.
VRED 2020.1
Area Light support has been added in VRED 2020.1 and higher.
Area Lights can be created using HDR Light Studio Tungsten Drop 1 and higher.
